Privacy Policy

Vowza is a service of PixelSixty LLC (“PixelSixty,” “we,” “us” or “our”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use getvowza.com, app.getvowza.com, inquiry forms and widgets powered by Vowza on wedding vendors’ websites, and the text messages, emails and direct messages sent through Vowza (together, the “Service”). It also explains how we use that information and the choices you have.

1. Who this policy covers

Couples and their guests: people who contact a wedding vendor through a form, widget, text, email or social media message that runs on Vowza.
Vendors: wedding businesses that use Vowza to receive and answer inquiries (“Vendors”), and their team members.

2. Our role

When you contact a Vendor through Vowza, we handle your information on that Vendor’s behalf so we can provide the Service to them. The Vendor decides how it uses your inquiry, and the Vendor’s own privacy policy also applies. For Vendor accounts and for our own websites, PixelSixty decides how information is used.

3. Information we collect

From couples

Contact details, such as your name, email address and mobile phone number.
Wedding details you choose to share, such as your date, venue or location, guest count, budget and questions.
Messages you exchange with a Vendor through Vowza, including texts, emails and social media direct messages.
Consent records: whether you agreed to receive texts, the exact wording you agreed to, when, the page you were on, your IP address and your browser type.
Opt-out records, so we can honor your choice.

From Vendors

Account details, such as name, business name, email address, phone number and login credentials.
Business information you add, such as packages, pricing, availability, policies and calendars.
Accounts you choose to connect, such as a calendar or an Instagram or Facebook business account, and the messages and events from them that the Service needs to work.

Automatically

Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps.
Cookies that keep you signed in and keep the Service secure. We do not use advertising cookies.

4. How we use information

To provide the Service: reply to inquiries, check availability, share package details, schedule tours and consultations, send follow-ups about your inquiry, and show Vendors their inquiries.
To send the texts and emails you asked for, and to honor opt-outs.
To run Vowza’s booking assistant. Some replies are written by artificial intelligence on the Vendor’s behalf, using the Vendor’s information and your conversation. The assistant tells you it is automated.
To keep the Service secure, prevent spam and abuse, fix problems and improve how the Service works.
To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use couples’ information to advertise to them.

5. Text messaging (SMS)

We send text messages only to people who have opted in by checking the text consent box on a form powered by Vowza. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Texts are about your inquiry, including availability, pricing, scheduling and booking details. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to opt out. You will receive one message confirming your opt-out, and no further texts from that number. Reply HELP for help, or email support@pixelsixty.com.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

6. How we share information

With the Vendor you contacted, and with that Vendor’s team members.
With service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit how they can use it: cloud hosting and databases, text message and email delivery, the artificial intelligence providers that power the booking assistant, and calendar and social media messaging integrations.
For legal reasons, when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users, the public or PixelSixty, including to prevent fraud and abuse.
In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of assets, where the information stays subject to this policy.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.

7. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as a Vendor’s account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or de-identify it within a reasonable time, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. We keep consent and opt-out records for at least five years, because we need them to prove consent and to keep honoring opt-outs.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls and separation of each Vendor’s data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

Texts: reply STOP to any text to opt out.
Emails: use the unsubscribe link in the email, or contact us.
Access, correction and deletion: email support@pixelsixty.com. If your request is about an inquiry you sent a Vendor, we may pass it to that Vendor, since they control that information, and we will help them respond.

Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights over your personal information. We will not treat you differently for using them.

10. Children

Vowza is for adults planning weddings and the businesses that serve them. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and we will notify Vendors of material changes.
